SYNOPSIS
Unfavorable boating conditions today as a weaksurface disturbance near the Atlantic coast tracks north
northwest producing scattered to numerous showers and scatteredlighting storms. Early next week, the Atlantic ridge axisextending towards North Florida and South Georgia is shuntedseaward by a large area of high pressure building across thenorthern U.S. and offshore the Atlantic seaboard. A weak frontalboundary will then move towards North Florida, where it isforecast to stall and meander through the week, keeping rainchances high.
